What is the Diril app, and what does it do?

What usually scatters a day is not the work itself. The list you had in the morning has split into three places by noon: a note, a message, and the thing you said you would handle tonight. Diril is a mobile app built to keep that in one screen. You plan work, school, and the rest of the day in the same place.

The name stays Diril. It comes from a Turkish verb, to get back up. The app does not shout that as a promise. It shows you the day, and you move through it.

What you build the day from

Not every job is the same kind of job. A one-off or a repeat is a task. Work that finishes when the time you set runs out is focus. Something you tap each time you do it is a counter. Time spent on an activity is a stopwatch. A habit is tracked as a streak. Writing something down, or a list like a shopping list, sits in the same plan.

Once those sit next to each other, the day stops feeling like seven apps. Open it in the morning and the week strip, your mood, and the work you put on that day are together.

The plan stays up without opening the app

The day’s plan lives in a persistent notification. You can see what is left in the notification drawer without digging into the app. What remains is summed up on one line. The point is not to leave the plan in another tab.

A ready routine is not a ready life

On days you do not want to build a list from nothing, there are ready routines. You can look through plans for waking, the body, work, and sleep, then adjust them to your own day. They are starting points, and they stay up to date.

This part needs to be plain. Ready routines are not treatment. Diril is not a medical device. The plans are for lifestyle and information. They do not diagnose or treat anything.

The garden and the year

Keep up the repeating tasks and habits, and flowers grow in the garden inside the app. Leave them, and they wilt. It is not a scoreboard. It is the mark a streak leaves.

The yearly heat graph is a similar look. Which weeks were full, which stayed quiet, you see in one glance. People who only notice a heavy stretch after it is over find this graph fairly honest.

Your data stays with you

Tasks, history, and settings stay on the phone. They do not go to a server. If you want a backup, you export JSON and import it again when you need it. There is no account and no cloud sync.

There are no ads either, unless you want them. The app shows the day without cutting in to sell you something.
